Kissing is very complicated, everyone has different ways and styles.
I remmber kissing my boyfriend, and we were both shy, we super close face to face and neither of us made till five minutes later, and it was a little akward cause he kept staring into my eyes..and that scares me a bit, but we laughed about it afterwards XD.
Just go with the flow, you will be fine, kissing is very scary, but in the end its worth it :]
