I don't know about the "program". Sounds like just a lot of reading or listening to tapes or something so you "understand" whatever they feel is the problem rather than it doing anything. I suppose they have exercises too, a workbook of some sort, to help put their theories into practice but I can't imagine it would be a whole lot better than other anxiety workbooks (or all the doctors would be prescribing it and it would be a "standard" treatment). I don't care for the author's education versus what she is saying the "cause" of anxiety is. That's what I would do if I were you; find a workbook I thought I could work with (check the library too) and go through it. But doesn't your therapist give you things to try?
