Generally, the reason for restricting links is to keep people from joining PC to advertise products or services. If your blog isn't for that purpose then a link to it in your signature is probably OK. DocJohn spells that out in more detail in the Community Guidelines (which you may already have looked at). For instance:

• Links in your signature are okay, as long as they are to your personal site, a charity, a helpful resource or article you'd like others to know about, a project or non-profit effort. Generally, no self-promotional links are allowed in one's signature; exceptions, however, may be made on a case by case basis.

As I understand it you're just sharing about interesting stuff you've seen, not trying to sell it to us, right?
