I just switched to Lexapro after taking Wellbutrin XL for a month. It made me feel really weird. I told my doctor that it felt like I could feel the space between my brain and my skull. Just really weird feeling and I felt almost like I was high. Mood wise the Wellbutrin did fine, I felt like I was high so it felt good. The Lexapro is doing well for me now. Getting used to it. Sleep is one of my biggest problems. I don't go into the last stage of sleep so I stay extremely tired. I wake up several times during the night and can't go back to sleep. But the Lexapro is working well and I fall asleep and stay asleep most of the night. If I wake up I fall back asleep pretty quick. Just getting used to it still. When I first started it, it made me pretty sleepy during the day. But that is getting better. It's in the same family as Prozac, but the Lexapro has had less side effects for me. I have had some dreams with Lexapro, but no nightmares as of yet or sleep walking in my case. Hope you find something that works for you and you can feel half way normal with. Good Luck, Monty
