I don't think I am bipolar but I do suffer from migraines. I have been on Fioricet for about 15 years and it helped me function (maxsalt for the really bad ones where I can't keep the meds down). Please, please know that this medicine containes a barbituate that is very, very physically addicting (generic name is butabutal). I did not know that and thought I was taking a "safe" medication all of these years. Just recently I have been looking into this medication (and suffering withdraws from stopping it).
