bridgie; I'm glad your coworker said something and by the sounds of it it was done in a caring and understanding way. I would much rather that then be spoken about behind my back. I would sugest you speak to your P-doc if you haven't already.

I understand your concern with anti-d's. For some with BP he or she can't tolerate them. SSRI's tend to cause more of an issue for those diagnosed, so if you haven't you may want to try an anti-d like wellbutrin (it's not a SSRI).

I have started using a SAD lamp (my depressions have a seasonal component) and I do notice a difference. I bought the Travelite model. Here is a link to their website: http://www.northernlighttechnologies.ca/home
