My "hunny" has been diagnosed with bipolar for years. However he refuses to take his meds because "they slow me down too much" I know as a nurse this is typical and I cannot force him to take his meds. ... BUT he refuses to see how it affect MY depression and our sons life.. He refuses to go to counceling as he does not care for my councler (sp). Every time I have a crisis he swears he will take his meds and not stop but he seems to be unable to stick to that promise. I am so tired of fighting the disease and his disease too..........
