I love your idea of making a memory book of hammie.......that is the best idea to honor his life.

It can be hard getting another pet or another hamester & yes, all things die. I think the one thing that might help you is thinking about the fact that you have so much love inside of you & you gave Hammie such a wonderful loving home. Another hamster or other pet would give anything to be able to live their life with someone that has that kind of love for them.
