Good luck on your appointment. I hope she is really nice and understanding. It does suck to have to go to a new person and give your history all over again. I've had to do that as my school insurance expired and my state insurance is taking over so I have to go to the county mental health office and see one of their psychiatrists. But there are 2 intake appointments (actually 3) before I got to see the psychiatrist (which I do this Wednesday). Each time I had to talk a little about my past. And I'll still have to do it one more time with her. Hate feeling naked in front of a stranger. I talk about the awful stuff with a cold detachment to hide my feelings (as if it had happened to someone else). I am still kind of numb about it all. Not sure how you deal with it, but that's what helps me.
