My meds have just been increased to the highest dose possible (225 mg) per day. I have noticed on the increased dose that I am getting a lot of digestive problems, namely really bad heartburn, I have tried drinking loads of water and eating a little bit extra and even swalling the meds with milk but nothing seems to get rid of the awful heartburn/indigestion, another thing i have noticed is a strange feeling in my head, almost like a crackle of electricity for a split second, is this normal? Its quite scary this!! I dont know if i should hang on in there and see what will happen further down the line . The next step is weaning me off venlafaxine/efexor, so would the next med be if the highest dose possible is not working? I get so muc conflicting advice.......... grr any ideas on sorting out the heart burn thing?
