What about getting the kids involved with the "clean sweep"?

Maybe you make of list in order of importance. Set a date (like a Saturday). Get the kids to pitch in and hangle certain tasks and try to tackle some of the stuff.

I did that a few weeks ago at my house. It worked out pretty well. I even had my 9 year old scrubbing the base boards. The still look great. LOL. Making a "day" of it isnt so bad. Also getting the kids involved relieves you as well. Just a thought.
