I am guessing that I rapid cycle, because I am usually all over the map. I can't count how many episodes I have had in the last three years. I have only had my suspected diagnosis for almost two years, but looking back, I think it was with my pregnancy and the birth of my youngest that my symptoms really sped up. Before that, I think I was still a rapid cycler (more than 4 in a year by definition) but they were more spread out. I have never had a professional tell me I am a rapid cycler, but I am not surprised because I don't even have a definitive diagnosis.

I am getting an in-depth evaluation in November and hopefully I will have more clear answers about myself.

I have spent the last two years learning about myself and my symptoms, and although I can usually tell where I am in terms of a swing, I sometimes need others to let me know what they observe about me. I go to therapy every week and my T is very good at helping me figure out what I am feeling and thinking. Before therapy, I really was a giant ball of exploding confusion.

I kept a daily journal for over a year which also helped, but lately I haven't been motivated to write.
