Run do not walk to the nearest labour attorney. You definitely have a case, if nothing else you'll get a better package. You may want your job back, that may not happen, and even if it did, I personally would not want to work there given those kinds of attitudes. I don't know you're exactl laws but here in Ontario, you'd have a strong case for discrimintion.
