I'm curious: why did you say "everything my family says to me seems negative" rather than "everything my family says to me is negative"? Do you feel overwhelmed and unsure of what you're experiencing?

I'm glad you attempted to talk to your mother, even if her reply doesn't help. Is there someone at school -- a counselor, a nurse, a teacher you like, even a teacher you like who isn't one of your own teachers -- to whom you could speak about what's going on?
