For me they are combined in most instances... romantic attraction to me is seeing yourself doing things like walking on the beach watching the sunset and just being happy holding hands and smiling at each other...
Sexual attraction.. well "Rip your clothes off NOW!!" is how I see it.

When they are combined I think it can be a good relationship basis.
