Never hurts to ask indeed. The worst she'll say is "no". I'm also guessing that if you have a problem with it, others do as well.

My situation may not apply to you, but I have accomodations based on my (many) different disabilities, and one of them is about readings and posting them in a timely manner (and if they don't post readings/slideshows, I still get them as part of my accomodations).
