Why does this person even expect you to want to spend time with them? They hurt you, forgiveness is one thing, but having to spend time with them? I think it would be well within the bounds of Normal to say to the person that you do not want to be around them. It is this person who is in the wrong, not you for being unable to act normal around them. to expect that from you seems unfair. Why should you have to behave normally when this person has done you so much harm.
