I could write a lengthy post about gun safety and reasons why people choose to own a firearm and why some people should not own guns but I will be concise.
There are different reasons why people own guns. Why would you choose to own one?
What do you mean you have always "liked" guns? Do you have any experience with firearms? Do you know gun safety?
