Thanks for the reply ((Thunderbear)). I won't recommend any stretching exercises since you have structural problems. Do you have a specialist taking care of you? Will the shots be a cortisone shot or something else? I hope you'll get the shots no matter what. I had cortisone shots because I have a 'frozen shoulder' problem - it helped alot.
Also be aware of your body position, when you're on the computer. If I'm not careful my shoulder get worse if I don't pay attention to how I'm sitting. I'm sorry you're in such pain.
