That often comes with depression. In some cases we pull away, "hide" from people, or give them subtle unconscious "clues" through our behavior and body language that we don't want to be spoken to... and then we feel alone and rejected.

Other times we have the same amount of contact with people but it just doesn't feel as satisfying because our depression tells us negative things about that contact.

And often in depression we may truly need more contact than we normally would, but that may be hard to get for several reasons: no one is around, we don't feel safe or trusting of people, people don't understand what we are going through.

You exist here Yack, and we are not ignoring you. Do your best to speak up for yourself even if you have an urge not to in your home or with a support group or anywhere you can feel safe.
