Perhaps it's just the way you've worded this statement that strikes me as a bit off. I do think that there are very intuative people in the world. Our body language and tone of voice tells a lot more than the actual words coming out of our mouth if people care to pay attention. I also think that we all have a sixth sense of sorts, you know that creepy feeling you get when you meet someone.

There are times when my husband can look at me and know what I'm thinking even though it may be a random thought (and vice versa), but we've been together for more than half our lives. But I suffer from frequent migraines and very good friends have interpreted the pain on my face as grief, disgust, frustration, anger etc.

But whether this is a definition of Mental illness really depends upon how you react and respond to this belief. Do you accept that you may be mistaken about what people are thinking? How would you react if you came across a person that you think is considering causing you harm, if the only "proof" is that thought that you see in their head?
