GL,

It is no great honor for me to write in defense of another member of a mental-health community. I would cry too if it was happening to me.
When someone comes to a mental-health community, it goes without saying that they are comming to a community that has a population consisting of people seeking ways to deal with mental- health issues in their lives. These issues are supposedly understood by the other members and there is supposed to be an acceptance to the person's condition, such as OCD, PTSD, BPD, depression, eating disorders, sexual abuse and other conditions. This leads to ones feeling of safety to be among others that have empathy toward the other members. They feel that they will not be subjected to attacks from other members or have their dignity assulted, or their integrety questioned or their self-image torn down with psychological tactics such as humiliation and shaming.
If you would like to have dialog with me for support from my perspective, could you read the following and I can show you how tears can be turned to laughter.
Lou
