DSF... it doesn't always just 'go away'. If you don't get SOME kind of treatment (therapy, meds, both), you run the risk of getting stuck in a downward spiral. I'm sure you know that, but I'm pointing it out because depression, unfortunately, has the annoying side-effect of discouraging people to bother seeking treatment, producing an apathy of sorts.

There are still several other meds you can try. My husband and I both took Lexapro with no major side effects. I urge you to talk to your doctor instead of just trying to wait it out. Depression CAN and often DOES get worse if left untreated. Please?
