Like ygrec, I don't trust myself - I've felt what it's like to lose control (both depression and psychotic mania) and I don't want access to a gun at a time like that. Also I'm from Australia where gun ownership is much lower and more tightly regulated - I probably wouldn't be allowed to own a gun...
