Hi Cris! (nice to see you again, by the way!) We hate feeling helpless and discouraged. Feelings we know all too well. We can sometimes feel better if we remember all the things that we do control, and embrace those. Like we are in control our home, we can keep in clean (or messy sometimes!) decorate it how we want, set the heat or air at the temperature we want. Sometimes little things like that help us.
