I feel that people like her are among those hurt worst in the way that many people cavalierly use the term of sex addiction to excuse how they act; the number of those who call themselves sex addicts and expect exception to be made for themfar outnumbers those who probably clinically meet the definition, and are worlds away from the type of agony that your friend suffers every day of her life. you yourself say that her drive to find peace from the horrible pain that she feels puts her in harm's way many times a day.
