My dr. just put me on extended release Methylin (ritalin) and I'm scared to take it after reading the warning label. I know, I know, I'm being a bit paranoid, but do I really want to take a pill when two of the side effects are having a heart attack or stroke? And it says you shouldn't take if you have bad anxiety, the ritalin sr was making me even more nervous when I started to crash. Has anyone been taking this for a while and htheave any advice? I'm 40 and maybe I'm just too old to taking this, but if I need to to concentrate at work, what choice do I have? Help!
