Dear dawnhopeful

I do hope that you get to make good friends with your new family, your mom was right, no man is an island. This doesn't mean to say that you should have tons of friends, but you do need someone to turn to when the going gets tough, otherwise life can get very lonely. I do hope that you are able to be more trusting towards other people, letting people in your life does open you up for a lot of heartache, but someone also said that it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all!
