wow, i really like the idea of this thread, and it's great to read all the positive things people are doing
i am my partner's ride to + from work, and she switched jobs recently after several years. anyway, i'd been driving everyday the most straight-forward way of getting to her place of work, but yet it is the biggest "main" street in my city so it has been really bad traffic.... and my anxiety has been horrible, just sitting there in a car that's i'm barely moving in, it makes me feel so trapped. so anyway, today when i went to pick her up i told myself that i would go a bit more of a round a bout way, because i had a feeling traffic wouldn't be so bad. and it wasn't!

i arrived at my destination NOT on the verge of or in a panic attack!
AND - i made myself take a moment to allow myself to see and recognize that i had done something to take care myself, and then congratulated myself
