You are completely right to focus on your priorities of health and school = that demonstrates a lot of 'mental health' to me.
I'm sorry to read about the increased panic/anxiety. It sounds like you are doing the correct things to deal with it, and probably it will reduce somewhat after this 'crunch time' of finals, etc..
