Sorry to hear all that you have gone through and are going through. It sounds reaaly hard, you have come to a great place there are great people here and I know I have come to really miss being here when I have otherthings to do.
I have only been here almost a month and like you I don't have much family close by, and most of my friends live far away.
It sounds like you made the right choice to get help, but make sure it is someone who you feel comfortable wth and can really help.
