Hi gurl,

I know how frustrating it is not to be able to sleep. There are lots of reasons that might keep you from sleeping. Can you tell us a little bit more about what's going on?

The thing that worked for me when I went though a time when I couldn't get any sleep was (first of all) to start taking St. John's Wort, which helped to get my depression under control, and also to use an herbal tea with chamomile and valerian at bedtime. I used one with kava also, which helps for stress and anxiety. The combination makes the sedative properties of all of those herbs stronger than any of them by itself. And it doesn't make you feel drugged or wake up with medicine head either, like some sleep aids will do.

I don't know if this is right for you, but it's what worked for me. We might be more able to help if we knew more about you and what you have already tried.
