PS - people who don't know Latin shouldn't venture a translation. That phrase originated back in WWII times, when disks didn't even exist yet.

the translation would be "one ought not to be ground down by the bastards" (if there really is such a word as carborare, doubtful). it should read illigitimis non carborundum est. Not a disk in sight.
