I do like to listen to them, but I get frustrated when I don't hear what I want to hear, or feel like the candidates have no clue, or that their priority isn't getting things done that need to be done.
rainbow8, I watched as much of the miners coming up as I could. It was so interesting. I really enjoyed watching the people and noticing the differences in culture. I was intrigued by how emotionally aware so many were. The first rescuer to go down stated he could 'feel all the love' from the miners when he arrived. Some of the men above ground who greeted the emerging miners were touched and had tears in their eyes. Everyone just seemed so ... I don't know.. centered? The last miner up repeatedly told the president of Chile that he hoped it would never happen again. Understandable, but what amazed me was that he spoke to the president as an equal.
And lastly, I don't know what comment or question was put to him, but he said "We were ALL psychologists down there."
It was inspiring to watch, very happy outcome!
