Late this afternoon, my case worker called me and told me they were issuing my foster parent license either today or Monday!!! So I am freaking out with all the preparations that I have to make before the little girl comes walking through our door. It can be at any age from infant up through an 8 year old. I am thinking it will be infant to 3 years old, it is just a hunch I have. So I need a crib, and a car seat for a toddler, and then clothes, a stroller, etc. All of a sudden I am energized, excited, and pacing the floor waiting!!! LOL...well not pacing, but can't seem to settle and be grounded. There is just too much to think about. Please know that it doesn't mean I will be here less, but it will be more strategically timed.
