we're adults now and of course no longer live with our mom, but she's still the same. my brother deals with it by simply immediately walking out of the house and going home. i suffer in silence and it always aggravates my medical condition. but 'going home' doesn't look like an option for you. perhaps you can find a hiding spot, whether mental or physical, perhaps a friend that you can visit.
