Hey All,
My husband's sister has been diagnosed as being 'pre-diabetic'. She is also having problems w/liver inflammation. I don't know if it's something she's come up w/herself or if a doctor has told her this, but she seems to be convinced that the liver inflammation is because of the pre-diabetes.
Ok, now I'm not a doctor, but I do know (sadly, as the number of people seem to be growing) quite a few people w/full-blown diabetes, and because I'm fat I constantly get subjected to glucose tolerance tests & crap, & the funny thing is that I have never heard anything about liver problems related to diabetes. Pancreatitis maybe - liver inflammation, no. And when her 'liver flares up' as she puts it, she ends up in a lot of pain. For some reason, something about this doesn't sound quite right to me.
