"Alea iacta est" is Latin for 'The die is cast'. It's what Caesar is supposed to have said when he began his campaign to take control of Rome, as he knew there was no turning back.

I'm not about to embark on an attempt to become leader of one of history's greatest civilisations ;-)

But I have just put my house on the market. All forms signed about two hours ago! Nervous now...
