Sad thing with some of these folks is that skin type has a lot to do with how well you take some of these surgeries. And then there are other problems. I heard from a couple of places that MJ had systemic lupus which was a big reason why his surgeries failed later on; what the disease does to the connective tissues is aweful, even before you might realize you have it. The so called "melting " effects and so on are classic for it.
Add to the problem is that managers, agents and actors often demand the type of results that are ureasonable to expect. Good plastic surgery often doesn't leave you looking twenty years younger, if you know what I mean, because that ends up aging badly, you can't close your eyes, etc. But the films demand that the lady looks good for the cameras NOW. TODAY! Sad, when you see what the profession can do for Noma and burn scar victims. A real come down for what is often a beautiful calling. Hugggs
