When you shop for a shirt, it's not too tough. You don't need any special knowledge...you know what you like, and you try to find it for a good price. Shopping for a dentist, mechanic, doctor, therapist, or lawyer is a whole different game, though. Unless you have special training in dentistry, car repair, etc. it's hard to tell the good from the bad...until you screwed, that is.
