As I lay back in the dentist chair awaiting my fate I have only one comfortable direction to gaze, which, of course is upward toward the ceiling. On the ceiling is a poster filled with various quotes.
I love quotes, so with each visit of the dentist I do my best to try to memorize (even one of) the hundreds of quotes on the poster before I'm sent off into the euphoric state of consciousness that the gas sends me. With each awakening after what work has been done, I'm usually too traumatized (lol) to even recall looking at the poster, let alone remembering one of the quotes.
So, this last visit I thought ahead. Also, the fact that I had two hours of waiting time to allow the Valium they gave me to kick in before I was gassed...(I'm dentist-phobic), I had time to kill. I pulled out my pen and jotted down just a few of the many quotes from the poster.
(Now, if I can only read the scribble I've written...lmao)

Sorry for the long intro to these few quotes. I just thought it'd be a bit amuzing to share how I had obtained these.
