Chris as Karoliina said you need to act now, stand up and say what you have to say there are a couple of things I would like to say, I just hope they are acceptable.

Ask anyone who has had someone come to them after they have been rejected by a lover, they will tell you of their heartache when the one who came to them went back to the one they left.

Also if that relationship went sour so quickly there is something going on there that you may need to be wary of? I don't mean to pry dear friend, I just want you to be ok and safe and I really, really don't want you to be hurt, it's something you have already been through and I don't think you deserve it again. You're a really nice man one who doesn't need any more hurt or pain,
