ah, you hadn't said it was a female on the phone. I see. Well, still, she could have just been using her husband's phone and called a wrong number. I doubt she had a clue who she was talking to. She may have realized she'd accidentally called a client and felt awkward about it though. That might explain the tone that seemed odd to you.
