I loved them all because they each had something (if not the whole book ) that helped in what my therapist at that time and I were doing in therapy.
Now for specifics the workbooks are amazing. They all are sitting on my shelf here and are still being used today when we located most of them 4 almost 5 years ago. Many people in real life and on line ask how I manage to stay on track with all the zaps from lifes "awards" and this is how I do it. If something is dragging me down or getting the best of me I hit the books. Its much faster help then calling a therapy office, leave a message and wait for therapist to get out of their sessions, recieve the message and call me back in the 2-3 minutes that they have before their next client. With these workbooks first I'm checking to see if its something that I can do or take care of myself instead of depending on the therapist to fix me and then second if I can't figure things out I still have the books to keep me hanging on until I get that call back from the therapist and third if I cant settle in with the books in the meantime I know its something new or major and it's time to forget about waiting for the call back I hop the next bus to the therapy office. With this system in place I've had only one appointment that was "an emergency drop everything Im coming in" situation and I have had the same therapist for almost 2 years and have not yet had to call her other than returning her scheduling calls between appointments. These workbooks are truely a lifesaver for me.
As for specific authors and people listed here:
Laura Davis first and foremost. She and her books have in one way or another been a part of my life now for close to 14 years. She is an amazing person, teacher and author.
Dr. Tracy Alderman, Karen Marshall, Nancy J Napier, Rachel Downing, Dr. Colin Ross, and Jean Darby Cline are also all fantastic people and authors that have been an amazing help to me and my therapist. over the past 4-5 years.
