My best friend was on it for seven months, until it almost killed her. In June, with no warning, she started having uncontrollable full body muscle spasms that hurt extremely bad all over. She was home alone, unable to get to a phone or any other way to get help, or water, or anything else. This went on for 25 hours before she was found and rushed to a hospital. By this time, the muscle spasms caused rhabdomyolysis which caused complete renal failure. She was in ICU for four days and two weeks total in the hospital. Doctors thought she'd need a kidney transplant...if she survived. She ended up needing kidney dialysis for a couple of months until her kidneys started working again. Currently she has approximately 50% kidney function and her doctors say this is about as good as it is going to get...and she is 25. The root cause was tardive dyskinesia caused by Seroquel. It worked well while she was on it, until it almost cost her her life.

Be careful with that stuff, please do your research and ask questions. Several videos on youtube of people with TD caused by Seroquel.
