Well according to the quiz on this site I am 97% chance of ADD, not a surprise and something I have wondered for a while but as yet undiagnosed. I did not crawl at all and was walking at 8 mths according to mum so don't quite know if that means anything. My daughter did not crawl either but did a weird bum shuffle with one leg out like a crab and the other tucked underneath her lol very funny to watch and she was sooo fast. She is extremely bright but I don't believe she has a MH problem. In some ways I wonder if having a (possible), ADD mum may have helped encourage early learning and so helped her achieve her level of early undeniable brilliance. And yes I am a proud mama lol. My 13 yr old has just been invited to compete at a science competition at a prestigious Uni after being invited to view their facility based on her science scores last year, ( 1st yr of high school). I wonder if she would be as bright without a manic mum who is meticulous with detail and values intelligence above all else. Just thought I would through it out there as we are often criticised for the negative effect we have on our kids but although that may be true to a certain level are we not also better parents when it comes to understanding, play and allowing them to think outside the box and encourage this.
