So last week I worked up enough nerve to ask my therapist to read 2 children's books for me (tape record them). It took me like 5 months to ask. I had been wanting to for so long but was afraid to ask her. Anyways when I got to my session today she had the tape for me (I have since converted it to digital and it is on my iPod) I thanked her for taking the time to do that for me and she said "it was my pleasure." She told me that I need to work on making the time between wanting for her to do something for me and asking for her to do something for me less. I told her I would try to work on it. But it's hard I told her because I don't want to sound like some whiny kid always needing attention. She told me that's what she is there for.
