Those are hard days. We do all have them sometimes.
It is good to let the sad emotions out, rather than repress them. People often feel a lot better after the tears pass.
If you find yourself stuck in the sadness for several days, without tangible reason/s, then I'd say that you need some professional help. Professional help would be seeing a doctor for possible medications and a referral to a T to talk things through.
