That is a beautiful poem...I just wish I felt that way or that my Mother had handled her death that way. I was the one that had to tell my Mother that is was ok to leave this life. All she could do was ask me when she was going to get well. The Dr didn't tell her that she was going to die, so therefore she knew that she wasn't. It is rather sad because she was very christian.....unfortunately, she believed that prayer was going to make her better because she & everyone else was praying that she was going to get better. The last few weeks when she insisted that prayer was going to make her better...all I could do was tell her that the prayers were going to be answered but not in the way she expected. Maybe it was because she was fighting the cancer so hard that she just couldn't give up the fight.

Given the trauma situation that I ended up in due to her thinking has made it impossible to even get to the grief aspect of her death.

It is wonderful that most people end up in a situation like the poem......that is a beautiful way to end life.
