Yes and then the problem becomes, if you're not looking for it, how do you know if you've found it? "The Truth" may come across your doorstep every single day but you miss it because you are either not looking for it, OR, are looking for the wrong thing! In another sense that is the same thing as saying the truth is here but we aren't ready to receive it yet!
That then validates the "Hitchhiker's Guide" joke, which is funny but I think speaks to something really true... in that story they search for the meaning of life (actually, the "answer to the ultimate question) and when they find it, it turns out that the "answer" is "42". Which leaves everyone confused, until they realize that they have correctly answered the question but haven't figured out what the "ultimate question" is... so they have to start all over from scratch to search for that "ultimate question" in order fo the "ultimate answer" that they have in hand to hold any meaning.
Numbers without units are meaningless!!! (Sorry, started channeling my incredible high school chemistry teacher for a moment there
